Hanoinow — a product of Softmaster Technology Solutions JSC — is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use Hanoinow services.
1. Information We Collect
Information You Provide Directly
- Phone number (used for OTP verification)
- Display name and avatar (optional)
- District of residence (for content personalization)
- Messages sent to the AI assistant
- Business registration info (if joining merchant program)
Automatically Collected Information
- IP address and device info (device type, OS, browser)
- Access logs: pages viewed, time spent, in-app actions
- Approximate location (if you grant permission — used only to show local info)
- Cookies and session data
2. How We Use Your Information
- Identity verification and account management
- Personalizing news, weather, and alerts by district
- Operating and improving the AI assistant (conversations are anonymized)
- Sending push notifications (if enabled — can be disabled in Settings)
- Usage analytics to improve user experience
- Detecting and preventing fraud or service abuse
- Complying with legal requirements
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We only share it in these cases:
- Service providers: Supabase (data storage), Google (AI/Gemini), Anthropic (AI/Claude), Upstash (cache), Cloudflare (CDN & file storage) — all bound by data processing agreements.
- Legal requirements: When required by Vietnamese government authorities under applicable law.
- Business transfer: In case of merger or acquisition, you will be notified in advance.
4. Data Security
We apply industry-standard security measures including:
- Data-in-transit encryption with TLS 1.2+
- Data-at-rest encryption
- Row Level Security (RLS) — each user can only access their own data
- Role-based access control (RBAC)
- Security audit logs
However, no system is completely secure. Please report any security vulnerabilities you discover to support@softmaster.vn immediately.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
- Account data: retained until you delete your account + 30-day backup period
- AI conversation history: auto-deleted after 90 days of inactivity
- Access logs: deleted after 12 months
- Aggregated analytics data (anonymous): may be retained indefinitely
To delete your account and all personal data, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account, or email support@softmaster.vn.
6. Your Rights
Under Vietnamese law, you have the right to:
- Access and view the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request data deletion (right to erasure)
- Object to or restrict processing of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior processing)
Send rights requests to: support@softmaster.vn with subject "Personal Data Request". We will respond within 30 business days.
7. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies for service operation (session authentication, user preferences) and anonymous analytics cookies for performance measurement. You can delete cookies via browser settings, though some features may not work.
We do not use third-party advertising tracking cookies.
8. Children
Hanoinow services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you discover a child has provided information to us, please contact us immediately for deletion.
9. Policy Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you via email or prominent in-app notice at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
